I thought that the Tokina 35mm Macro review I read was heaping a bit too much praise on this lens, but after trying it for myself, I finally understand why. This lens excels in both portrait and macro mode and I have spent a lot of time just exploring all my options. So far it is the color that has impressed me the most, but I really like the bokeh as well. I was seriously considering a 60mm macro lens for my camera, but I am glad that I opted for the 35mm in the end. This focal range suits my needs way better and I have been taking better photos than ever before in my life. It is obviously not a lens that you are going to be able to take clear action photos with easily, but I still find it to be very versatile. It is definitely a lens worth taking a chance on.
